Hello world!

So today Movable Type decided not to work for me anymore. Don’t say I didn’t try to make it stay because I cared enough to upgrade, downgrade, and then upgrade again to make it work, but it just didn’t happen. The first blogging tool I considered to replace MT was Textpattern, but we’re just not meant to be. Hence my being with WordPress. It might take some time to adapt the old layout into a WP-based one because I’m not very familiar with the interface so please bear with me. Thanks!

  1. I just did the same thing for basically the same reasons. I’m liking WP’s interface so far, but I haven’t had time to read through the documentation and set up a layout…
It’s sort of like it took me a long time to switch over to MT code from greymatter, and now I have to learn another way to code. Blargh.

  2. I too made the switch from MT to WP what seems like eons ago. I’ve been so happy that I will never use any other CMS again!

  3. I’ve been to your blog several time before and I just love your blog design. I hope your switching to WP goes smoothly.

  4. It’s not really as easy to figure out as MT, for sure. But then again, I’d been using MT for three years and I’ve been using WordPress for only one day.

  5. Hey, I use WordPress. I like it, but I’m working on my own php blog so I can integrate it better in my own site. Which stinks now. Er…I hope you like it πŸ™‚

  6. I hope you to stick to WordPress. I liked it but recently moved up to Drupal. Check it out at drupal.org
