The Best Way to Skip a Stone. Oh man. You don’t know how happy I was to find this article. See, every time we come across a river or a lake, I always ask the boy to teach me how to skip a stone Amelié-style (he’s really good at it). He’s taught me a zillion times already but I’m still not any good at it. I can only do it once in, like, every two dozen tries. And I think he’s tired of teaching me how to do it already. But after reading the article, I’m not too happy anymore (read the last paragraph).
By the way, The New York Times requires you to register before you can read the article. If you’re on Mozilla Firefox, by all means, get the BugMeNot extension to skip the registration process. It will make your life so much easier. If you’re on Internet Explorer then maybe you should just go to the BugMeNot website and generate a login info for yourself. That is, assuming you aren’t a registered user of The New York Times already.
