A self-proclaimed ‘parking ticket Santa’ is paying for shoppers’ parking fines in Birmingham, UK by leaving Christmas card with cash money in it underneath the penalty charge notice. How nice.

In other Christmas-related news, if you use instant messaging software, beware of messages bearing gifts because they may contain the IM.GiftCom.All worm. The worm will try to get you to visit a website featuring Santa Claus with a link that, if clicked, will install a malicious file into your computer.

If you can’t get enough of Lazy Sunday, a really awesome Saturday Night Live digital short featuring Chris Parnell and Adam Samberg from last weekend, you can always watch it over and over again on your computer. Am I the only one who thinks that Adam Samberg bears a slight resemblance to Ashton Kutcher?

Oooh, lookie! One of my all-time favourite songs, Nightswimming by R.E.M., has been covered by Coldplay and Michael Stipe, who is a member of R.E.M. Should we call it a half-cover? (The last couple of links are stolen from Everybody Cares.)

Gold Miner is my kind of game because it only has two control keys. :) The reason I’ll never be good at any videogames is because there are so many control keys to press! I could never remember which key does what. I’m definitely not a gamer.

I saw a lot of movies this year, but not enough to score more than 50% (well, 16 out of 30 correct) in the Guardian’s 2005: the year at the movies quiz. Can you do better?

Now I’m going to get ready to go to the mall and do the last of my Christmas shopping for this year. I just have to to pick up some more gifts for Troy because he’s been a very good boy. :)
