Post Weekend Blues

Icicle and the Sky
This year’s winter has been pretty mild. Coming from a country with a tropical climate, I should be happy about it. But I’m not. I like my winter harsh. Harsh enough to freeze the Great Lakes. Just like last year’s.
Well, enough whining. Let’s just take a quick look into human stupidity, shall we? The next time you have to kill a mouse (but only if you really, really must), make sure that the mouse is dead before you throw it into the fire. Otherwise, the mouse in fire might run into your house and burn it down to the ground. You wouldn’t want that to happen to you.
A research in the Great Britain shows that 40 percent of women and 22 percent of men said they had claimed food bought in a shop as their own. But the most interesting part of the research (at least to me) is the finding that women were more impressed by a man’s cooking ability than whether they owned a flashy car. Guys, take note!
We got to hang out with a crazy, calico cat this past weekend. I asked Troy to put something on the cat so I could take a picture of her that I could submit to Stuff On My Cat (even though she wasn’t really my cat) and he did try, but to no avail. Anyway, out of the pictures posted on the site, this one is definitely my favourite.
I’m not a religious person but I found the Seven Deadly Sin quiz interesting enough to take. According to the quiz results, Sloth is the mortal sin that has done me in. Um, okaaay! At least my Envy and Lust levels are very low. πŸ˜›
Since the Intarweb is kind of boring today, I’ll just throw in a couple of games for you. The first one is called Uber Breakout. It’s kind of like the old Breakout game that we all know and love, but on crack. It’s quite a fun and challenging game. You’ll like it.
The second game is called Squish. It’s a much simpler game than Uber Breakout. All you have to do is squish the bugs with your gloved hand. If anything, it’s easier than catching a fly with a pair of chopsticks.
Finally, I wish more people would start a campaign to vote for me at the Bloggies™. πŸ˜‰ Thank you for your kind words, David! And speaking of the Bloggies™, tomorrow is the last day for you to nominate your favourite weblogs. If you have some time to spare, do go to the Bloggies™ site and send in your nominations! Of course some nominations for Weblog Wannabe would be much appreciated. πŸ˜‰
