When I was trying to find a colour scheme for the current design of this site, I kept coming across these three-letter words. The three-letter words are hex codes for just a few of the many web-safe colours. The beauty of using web-safe colours in the stylesheet is, instead of typing the full hexadecimal code (for example: #aaccee), you can simply type the first, third, and fifth letters (for example: #ace) and you’ll still get the same colour. I guess that’s one of the incentives for using web-safe colours. You’ll get to save a few seconds of your time when you’re writing the stylesheet! There are probably some other combinations that I missed. If you’re bored enough, you can try to come up with three-letter words that I haven’t listed above out of these letters: a, b, c, d, e, and f.
