Groundhog Day

So it’s been decided by Ontario’s Wiarton Willie. Winter is ending soon. Nova Scotia’s Shubenacadie Sam also confirmed Willie’s prediction of an early Spring. However, their American counterpart, Punxsutawney Phil, disagrees. He saw his shadow when he woke up this morning, which means there’ll be six more weeks of winter. I really hope that Phil…… Continue reading Groundhog Day

Rabbit, Rabbit!

Happy February! Just wanted to post a few things I noticed while surfing around aimlessly. Internet Explorer 7: Beta 2 Preview is out. I’m scared! Please hold me! I don’t know if I’ll be brave enough to install it. I’m thinking of perusing this tutorial to make a fake lensbaby using a rubber plunger to…… Continue reading Rabbit, Rabbit!

Excuses, Excuses

Meep! Just wanted to let you know that since I’m busy working on the Book of Styles, updates to this weblog will be less frequent than usual. Troy has threatened not to renew the domain if I didn’t do anything about it. The domain will expire in two weeks so I have no choice but…… Continue reading Excuses, Excuses

Utata’d!

For a couple of months now I’ve been involved in an online community of people with an interest in photography called UTATA. It is the coolest, most active, and friendliest online community I’ve ever known. I always admire the beautiful photographs featured on the front page. Imagine my suprise when I heard from the publisher…… Continue reading Utata’d!

A Gloomy Day

I wasn’t too convinced about today being the gloomiest day of the year, but then Firefox crashed and I lost today’s entry. It never happened before. It’s enough to convince me that today is indeed the gloomiest day of the year. In addition to the Firefox-ate-my-post case, Weblog Wannabe is not on the list of…… Continue reading A Gloomy Day

Stuck in Reverse

Okay, quick blogging for today since I need to go out and take photos while it’s kind of sunny outside. I think the greyness of winter might have given me the seasonal affective disorder since I keep feeling blah. Though it might just be hormonal. Who knows. Scientists have found a difference between men and…… Continue reading Stuck in Reverse

Life’s About Changing

The sky always makes an excellent background, regardless of the weather, don’t you think? And you know what’s not excellent? It’s Flickr during the day. It’s always so unbearably slow to load! I wish I wasn’t such a Flickr-addict. Sigh. Anyway, an Italian sexologist has found through a research that couples who have a TV…… Continue reading Life’s About Changing

I Wish I Had a River

Another weekend has come and gone. As usual, I’m getting the post-weekend blahness. We spent the weekend just driving around to visit thrift stores and antique markets in search for even more vintage cameras, resulting in a Russian 35mm camera called Prinzflex 500 and a box camera called Anscoflex II, which still has yet to…… Continue reading I Wish I Had a River

Where is the Love?

Hello! Did you miss me? Probably not. It’s only been two days since the last time I blogged something for you. I just had a couple of other things to pursue. But I’ll be back with some links to amuse you on Monday. Promise. Scout’s honour. Anyway, I was just surfing around the Bloggerville today…… Continue reading Where is the Love?

We Belong to the Light

Well, it’s just yet another grey day in Waterloo. I hope the sky will clear out tonight because I’m going to do some hardcore, night photography. Should be fun. And I’ll get to take advantage of my tripod. God knows I don’t use it enough. I don’t know why, though. I know I don’t really…… Continue reading We Belong to the Light
